Congratulations Room 7 on a wonderful year of learning in Year 2!

Thank you for being so amazing in Room 7 this year. I am going to miss you next year but you are ready for Year 3 and I know you will go on to do more great learning at EPS.

Keep using the EPS 3Rs in everything you do and you will go far.

The 100 Days Party

On Tuesday Room 7 had a 100 days party at school.

First Room 7 had to set up their treasure boxes and Room 7 treasures were shiny. My favourite one was the butterflies.

Next Room 7 iced the cupcakes with sprinkles and M and Ms and I had a little taste.

Finally Room 7 did the exercises and it was fun and I liked the skipping rope.

After that Room 7 ate the 100 cupcakes and I thought the 100 cupcakes were yummy!

I loved the 100 days party because it was lots of fun and we got to eat 100 cupcakes!

I am learning to show the EPS values on a school trip

Last term we went to the Auckland Museum to celebrate Matariki, the Maori New Year.

We participated in the Education programme at the Museum and even got a ta moko on our face!

This year is EPS’s Jubilee so we had a big 50^th birthday party at school.

For our inquiry on Celebrations we had to participate in the 50^th birthday party celebration and describe the event.

I had lots of fun participating in all the different party games!

For Mother’s Day we made some special Mother’s Day cards using Word Art.

This is my writing sample I did all on my own. I had to write 2-3 sentences about our soccer lesson.

For our Maths Strand this term we have been learning all about Statistics. We have used the Statistics activities on Mathletics to practice what we have been learning.

Sarayah-The green one has the most books and the red one has the least books.  The green one has 10 books and the red one has 2 books.
